Anti-Graffiti Committee
The Anti-Graffiti Committee consists of 4 individuals who sit on the KBB Board and represent the Bakersfield Police Dept. Crime Prevention Unit, County Parks Department and two community residents appointed by their city council person. The committee meets at will when necessary, however communicate with each other on an almost daily basis. The four members sit with a larger group, the KBB Anti-Graffiti Task Force which consists of city, county and state graffiti programs, law enforcement, probation, education, parks, art community, local political representatives and community volunteer groups. The purpose of the task force is to work together, find solutions and implement strategies that will harness the energy and frustration of community residents and turn them into a graffiti fighting volunteer army in our communities.
